2. Utilize Space All the Way to the Ceiling
Even if you have a tiny bedroom, you are likely to still have a decent ceiling height. This means that there is a wealthy of opportunity just above your head!
Take any shelving, cupboards or wardrobes, to the full height of the ceiling. Although you can always store items on top of smaller units, this can often make the room appear cluttered and smaller. However, when you have clean, tall lines, it not only keeps everything looking neat but also creates a feeling of more space.
In the photo above, the bedroom is relatively minimal, but the tall, clean lines of the white wardrobes give the illusion of a much larger room. Just remember to choose units in a neutral and complementary shade to help making the rest of the room feeling overshadowed and busy.
